THE CONVOY CUP FOUNDATION - is a joint effort established by the Dartmouth Yacht Club, The Royal Norwegian Consulate and the Camp Norway Foundation. Their aim is to honour, through yachting events, the seagoing wartime service of convoy veterans.

The first Convoy Cup ocean sailing race was held in the historic Bedford Basin, which was the principal staging location for the wartime convoys. September 2006 will see the third Halifax Convoy Cup Regatta, now a biennial event alternating between Dartmouth’s Bedford Basin and Risor, Norway.
